First of all, my name is Kat and I am currently a senior assistant buyer for a well known high street brand. I have worked in the fashion industry for six years across multiple product areas; jewellery, handbags, trousers, skirts, woven tops, denim, casual separates.

Admittedly, I love my job and it is what I have always dreamt of doing, but as time goes on, I have discovered what I believe to be a real talent of mine, foreseeing future fashion trends. This has become a huge passion of mine with my eyes permanently glued to my phone with countless screen grabs of images, so many that I have had to increase my iCloud storage.

I have then taken my predictions and applied them commercially in order to generate revenue.

This has not only made me more confident in my ability to predict trends but has also made we well known within my company.
